He is a Harvard-educated physician (MD, MPH) with over a decade of experience caring for adult patients with kidney disease. He is known for diagnosing and treating complex nephrology conditions, and his clinical work at Washington Hospital and St. Rose Hospital—along with his longstanding research involvement and publications—reflects his commitment to excellent patient care and medical education.

His clinical interests span a broad range of nephrology, including diabetic nephropathy, continuous renal replacement therapy, dialysis, plasmapheresis, renal bone disease, and difficult-to-treat hypertension. He actively conducts clinical research and serves as a principal investigator on multiple clinical trials.

He is also recognized for research-based teaching and for distilling complex medical concepts into clear, practical explanations. He is an active member of the American Society of Nephrology and frequently speaks and teaches in clinical and professional settings. He also serves as a speaker for pharmaceutical companies and on several advisory boards.
